My name is Sarah Fern Meil. I represent people who have been harassed and discriminated against, people whose civil rights have been violated, people who have been treated unfairly, and people who work to provide for their families.
I was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and grew up in Flemington, New Jersey. I attended Hunterdon Central High School and graduated as the valedictorian of my class in 1996. I was also the New Jersey Lincoln-Douglas Varsity Debate Champion that same year.
After graduating from Yale University magna cum laude in 2000, I attended Columbia law school on a full tuition scholarship as a Hamilton Fellow and graduated in 2003. I started my career defending large companies as a litigation associate at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, one of the most successful law firms in the country.
After a few years, I realized that I craved a practice representing individuals rather than big companies. To make this dream a reality, my husband and I moved back to Hunterdon County, New Jersey and I opened my neighborhood law office.
Though my office is in a small town, it is equipped with the most modern legal technology which allows me to represent clients against the biggest corporations and throughout New York and New Jersey and in various state and federal courts.
